Yuna of BB Girls made a surprise appearance as a weathercaster for a day, delivering the morning forecast on JTBC.
Standing in front of the weather screen, Yuna opened by introducing herself and BB Girls' latest release.
"Hello, this is Yuna of BB Girls. We have recently been bringing refreshing energy suitable for the hot summer with our new release, 'Body Wave,'" she said. "Now that the heat has eased a little, why not enjoy the rest of the summer with a lighter heart?"
She then moved on to the actual forecast, saying that rain that fell across southern regions during the Liberation Day holiday on Saturday had mostly subsided.
"However, rain will continue through today, mainly in the Yeongnam region (in the southeast) and along the southern coast," Yuna added. "Expected rainfall is between 10 and 60 millimeters along the southern coast and on Jeju Island, and between 5 and 50 millimeters in the Yeongnam region."
BB Girls are known for songs including "Rollin'" and "We Ride," both of which enjoyed renewed popularity after climbing back up the charts following their initial releases.
The group began activities under its current name as a four-member act in 2023, consisting of Minyoung, Yujeong, Eunji and Yuna. Yujeong left the group in April 2024, and BB Girls has since continued as a trio.
