APR has opened a permanent Medicube store at Mexico’s Palacio de Hierro, becoming the first Korean beauty brand to enter the premium department store chain, the company said Wednesday.

The store at the retailer’s Satelite branch, northwest of Mexico City, builds on Medicube’s pop-up at Oasis Coyoacan earlier this year. A second permanent location is scheduled to open at Palacio de Hierro’s Coyoacan branch this month.

The openings deepen APR’s push into Mexico’s premium beauty market, adding dedicated stores to its growing network of retail partners.

The Satelite location sells skincare products and beauty devices, including the PDRN Pink Peptide Ampoule, PDRN Gel Pads, Collagen Night Wrapping Mask and AGE-R Booster Pro X2. APR plans to adjust the assortment based on local demand and sales.

Medicube expanded across Sephora and Costco stores in Mexico in December, followed by Sam’s Club in the first half of this year and Ulta Beauty in July.

APR said growing demand for Korean cosmetics in Latin America is supporting its expansion. The company plans to broaden its Mexican distribution network as it builds sales through both online and physical stores.
