SEOUL, Sept. 27 (Yonhap) -- Hyundai Motor Co. said Sunday its second-generation Palisade, the automaker's flagship large sport utility vehicle (SUV), has sold nearly 300,000 units globally in the 20 months since its launch.
The automaker said 281,920 units of the all-new Palisade had been sold as of August since the fully redesigned model was launched in January 2025, with average monthly sales of about 15,000 units.
At the current sales pace, cumulative sales of the second-generation model are expected to surpass 300,000 units soon.

The fully redesigned second-generation Palisade debuted about six years after the first-generation model was launched in December 2018.
Its hybrid variant accounted for 72.1 percent of Palisade sales in the first eight months of this year, driven by strong demand, particularly in North America.
Combined sales of the first- and second-generation Palisade reached 1.24 million units as of August. The model surpassed 1 million units in cumulative sales in May 2025, about 6 1/2 years after its debut.
