World island expo in Yeosu — World island expo in Yeosu
The opening ceremony for the 2026 Yeosu World Island Expo is held in the southern city of Yeosu, South Jeolla Province, on Sept. 5, 2026. The expo, under the theme "Islands, Connecting Seas and the Future," will run through Nov. 4 at venues across Yeosu, including Gaedo and Geumodo islands and the former Expo site. (Yonhap)
